For mature audiences, we offer Movie Night Out, which features a popular film that is typically rated PG-13. Free refreshments are provided at each movie.
Want to learn how to use a computer or surf the Web? Need to learn how to download a book to your eReader? London Public Library can help. Starting in February and running through May, the library is offering the following classes for FREE: Basic Computer Skills, Introduction to the Internet, Online Databases Application Class, and Genealogy.
Don Colley, London Public Library's Guiding Ohio Online teacher, will be instructing the classes. Classes are free, but seating is limited. It is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants may bring their own laptops, or use the library's computers.
Join us for Toddler Time (ages 0-3) on Tuesdays at 10 am and for Preschool Story Time (ages 3-6) on Tuesdays at 11 am.
Plus, don't forget about Play Dates on Thursdays at 10:30 am. Children from birth to 6 years of age are welcome to come and play at the library with a variety of toys.
If you have questions, please contact Mary Anne Wood at 740-852-9543 or email at email@example.com .
The London Public Library is starting the New Year with a new logo. The logo is inspired by the library's prominent Carnegie and back window. To top it off, a book silhouette represents its primary goal of literacy. The new logo is being released ahead of a new website that the library has been working on with Columbus based company, Marcy Design Group. The new website will be released to the public in the near future.
